"Snow"
On Wednesday, the kinder class made "snow" with baking soda and conditioner. They and a lot of fun measuring the ingredients and mixing it together. It was very messy, but worth it!

Halloween- There will be a Halloween parade and party on Friday, Oct. 31st. Students are allowed to come to school in their costume, but it must comply with the school dress code. Toy weapons are not allowed at school. The parade will be at 10:30, and parents are welcome to attend. Our class party will be after the parade. We'll eat some treats and watch It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. If you are interested in providing a treat for the class, please email me at sarahradon@yahoo.com.

3rd Annual 4th Grade PE Basketball Tournament
The basketball tourney was a succes! Though some eyes got poked and some knees were skinned, the kids played hard and had fun! It went so well, we may have another tournament in the spring. 🏀🏆🏀

ELA- I've assessed the students' literacy skills and will be putting them in reading groups this week. This will allow me to meet the needs of each student.
Math- We will practice writing and counting numbers to five in the coming weeks.
ELA- The Island of the Blue Dolphins test is Friday, Sept. 12th. Students are allowed to bring their reading text book and their ELA journal home to help them study, but they must be brought to school each day. The students will get a study guide on Wednesday.
