We have finally finished our patterns unit! They enjoyed learning about the many ways patterns are created.
We will take the patterns test this week and start Topic 11: Geometry!

Building Literacy Skills, A Two Part Approach
Part #1: In order for your child to continue improving their reading skills, it is imperative they read aloud to an adult (or sibling) daily. If you have a reluctant reader, set a timer for five minutes. Gradually increase over the next month to ten minutes of continuous reading.
Part #2: Read to your child daily! By reading aloud to your child, you model effective reading habits, and your child will be exposed to vocabulary they are currently unable to read.
