Class News, March 3-7

Kindergarten

Math
We will practice counting, reading, and writing numbers 21-30 this week.

ELA
The students will meet Mr. X-Ray this week. Mr. X-Ray says /ks/ (spelled with x). They will also learn the sight word the.  

We will start learning the -ot and -ox word families this week!

Sounds Learned: /s/, /m/, /r/, /t/, /b/, /n/, /h/, /a/ (short), /v/, /k/ (spelled with C), /p/, /g/, /f/, /l/, /k/ (spelled with K), /i/ (short), /kw/ (spelled with Q), /d/, /z/, /o/ (short), /ks / (sound for x)
Sight Words Learned: I, see, my, like, a, to, and, go, is, here, for, have, said, the

Science/Social Studies 
We will learn about wind. 

Important Dates 
  • No School : March 21st
  • Southside Nights Dinner/Auction (Adult only event): April 5th
4th Grade

ELA
The test for A Covered Wagon Girl will be given Friday.
